The following protocol is implemented by Atix Hotel to guarantee that the stay of all our guests is safe and free from any risk of contagion.

We kindly request to read the procedures contained in this document, which complies with our internal policies as well as the regulations established by the Bolivian Ministry of Health and the Autonomous Municipal Government of La Paz.

We are sure that compliance with these rules will make your stay safe and pleasant and we would like to thank you for your understanding in this exceptional situation.

24 hour customer service.

Breakfast: In restaurant or room (at no additional cost) from 7:00 to 10:00

Lunch: From 12:30 to 14:30

Dinner: From 19:00 to 22:00

Room Service: De 12:00 a 23:00

Rooftop Bar: Closed until further notice for the external public. Room service orders will be received from 12:00 to 20:00

Health Club:

  • The massage service is on request and the reservation must be made at least 1 day before the day of service.
  • Preserving your health and complying with health guidelines, the infinity pool, edge jacuzzi, dry sauna and steam will remain closed until further notice.
  • The gym will be available 24 hours a day, please note that this space should not be used by more than 2 people at a time , respecting the minimum distance required.

Advance Reserve: Restaurant services (for guests and external clients), Massage Service and Transfer Service (to and from the airport) must be reserved in advance to be able to schedule them and comply with the health and social distancing protocols.

Modality: Reservations can be made by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail, to the aforementioned contacts.

In advance: The hotel restaurant accepts reservations up to 1 hour before the service. External customers must arrive 10 minutes before their reservation to comply with the cleaning and disinfection protocols.

24 hour service: Our staff will be available to attend to your requirements and needs during the day / night, complying with the protocols of health and social distancing.

Capacity: The reception / lobby area can only receive a maximum of 6 people, so we kindly ask you to enjoy the other spaces within the hotel (Restaurant, PB or Rooftop extension).

Social distancing: Please keep the recommended distance of 2 meters between people, which should also consider the hotel staff.

Protection screen: The reception counters will be equipped with protection screens to maintain distance and avoid possible air pollution.

Disinfectant: Thinking about the well-being of our guests and clients, the hotel has installed different points where you can find hand sanitizer gel: Reception, lobby, restaurant, gym and Rooftop.

Chinstrap: If you do not have a mask / chinstrap, you can contact Reception who will gladly give you this protector.

Payment: We kindly ask you to make the payment of your account through the payment form to avoid having to hand over your credit card at Reception and as far as possible avoid paying in cash.

Credit / debit card readers are disinfected after each use.

Luggage: Your luggage must be deposited in the specific area indicated by Reception so that it is disinfected with UV lights before being transferred to the room.


Deep cleaning: All occupied rooms will be disinfected at least 2 times a day. 70 degree alcohol will be used to disinfect handles, buttons, sockets, tv control. Etc.

UV lights: Before the entry of a new guest to the room, it will be disinfected with UV lights, likewise the guest who occupies the room may request this disinfection during their entire stay.

Linens: All bedding will be washed daily in our laundry, with water at a minimum of 60 ° C.

Personal: To avoid staff turnover, one chambermaid will be appointed per floor who will be in charge of cleaning the floor.

Safety Kit: You can request a Safety Kit that includes a mask / chinstrap and a sanitizing gel so that you can use it both inside and outside the hotel.

Information: We have proceeded to remove all the stationery from the room. The hotel information is contained in a QR code “Atix Hotel Virtual Book”, which is located on your nightstand and which you can access through your mobile device.

Minibar: To avoid any contagion from handling products in the minibar, all of these have been removed. If you want any product, please access the Virtual Book and request the product of your preference by dialing “0”.

Laundry: The hotel has a laundry service. The rates and hours of attention are in the Virtual Book.

To use the bag, please contact Reception by dialing “0” to give the respective instructions, this bag will be collected by House Keeping staff from 10:00 am and will be returned on the day next from noon. 

Deliver clean clothes: It will be delivered in water-resistant bags that preserve the disinfection of clothes.


Early booking: The Restaurant and Rooftop Bar accept reservations up to 1 hour before the service.

Internal and external clients must arrive at the hotel 10 minutes before their reservation to comply with the cleaning and disinfection protocols.

Capacity: At no time will the restaurant have more than 25 people seated and 35 people including the annexes.

The Rooftop Bar will not have more than 35 people seated.

Distancing: We kindly ask you not to move chairs or tables, as they respect security protocols; However, if you need help, our staff will gladly take care of your request as long as it respects the minimum distance required.

Menu: Our menu will be available via QR code to avoid the use and manipulation of paper.

Seasonings: No condiments will be placed on the table to avoid exposure, these must be requested from waitresses or room staff.

Napkins and tableware: Cloth napkins will be replaced by paper napkins for disposal after use. Our dishes, cutlery and glassware will be washed at a high temperature to ensure disinfection and cleanliness; and they will be mounted on the table once the customer is seated.

Extra protection: Our garzones will be equipped with a mask / chinstrap and latex gloves.

Tables and chairs will be disinfected with alcohol before and after each service.


Bathrooms: Restrooms in public areas will be cleaned and disinfected at least 6 times a day, which will be subject to verification of use to increase cleanliness if necessary.

Elevators: They can only be used by 1 person at a time or by 2 people sharing a room.

The cleaning of elevators and buttons will be done every hour.

Swimming pool: As long as the pool is closed, use of the area around it will be allowed.

Please, we ask that the location of chairs be respected, which are accommodated respecting the minimum distance required.

Once the pool and whirlpool are open, disinfection will be carried out with UV light and the chlorine and PH levels of the water will be monitored daily to ensure that it is in safe numbers.


Entrance to the hotel: All guests and clients who enter the hotel must record their temperature which will be taken by a wall thermometer located at the entrance of the hotel and must disinfect their shoes in the solution of water and alcohol that will be found upon entry.

  • Register: The hotel will keep a record of:
  • Contact: Worksheet in which the contact between the staff and the guests / clients is recorded.
  • Temperature: Worksheet that daily records the temperature of all personnel upon entry and end of the respective shifts.
  • Disinfection: The hotel will implement electric diffusers that allow the disinfection of all public areas and corridors.
  • Uniform: The uniform of all staff is washed and disinfected daily.


The Atix Hotel staff was specifically trained in the protocols to follow to face COVD-19, prevention and everything related to the pandemic.
